Chicken tikka

The chicken would traditionally be cooked in a clay tandoor oven but at home you could grill, oven bake or even barbecue the chicken.

Ingredient for __3-4 serving 

1/2 kg Boneless chicken Fillet
2 Tomato(1/2 inch piece)
1 Big onion(1/2 inch wedges)
1 Big capsicum(1/2 inch piece)
First marinade
2 tbsp Lemon juice
1 tbsp Ginger paste
1 tbsp Garlic paste
1 pinch of salt
Second marinade
2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
1 tsp Red chilli paste
100 gm Hung curd
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Garam masala
1 tbsp Mustard oil
1 tsp Black peppercorn pwd



Method

  • First marinade chicken with first marinade and keep aside in refrigerator for 1 hour.
  • Now take a bowl add second marinade ingredients and make a paste, add the chicken pieces into it and leave for 5-6 hours.
  • Grease the skewer with oil string the chicken and veggies, cook in oven for 10-14 minutes or till cooked at 180 degree.(time of cooking will be differ if use other method)
  • Sprinkle some chat masala, serve with lachaa onion and mint chutney.
