Garam masala is a blend of ground spices.It is used alone or with other seasonings.
Ingredients
Cinnamon Sticks 5 (3 inch.)cardamom pods 1 cup
cumin seeds 1/2 cup
black pepper 1/2 cup
cloves 1/2 cup
coriander seeds 1/2 cup
Coconut - grated (opt.) 1/4 cup
Preparation
- Dry the ingredients in an oven or sundry. Do not let them turn brown.
- Remove the seeds from the cardamom pods.
- Pound cinnamon stick into smaller size.
- Combine ingredients until they are well mixed and blend at high speed for 2 or 3 min's. Till completely done.
