Ingredients for output 15-16 squares
Brownies60 gm Milk chocolate,chopped
120 gm Unsalted butter, cut into
cubes
1 Egg
180 gm Castor sugar
2 tbsp Red food coloring
1 tsp Vanilla essence
Pinch Salt
75 gm All-purpose flour
Cheese cream frosting
125 gm Cream cheese, softened
30 gm Unsalted butter, softened
70 gm Icing sugar
Method
Brownies- Preheat the oven to 180'c. Butter and line the bottom of an square baking pan with parchment paper, letting the paper hang over both sides.
- In a bowl, over double boiler melt the chocolate with the butter. stir and let cool.
- In another bowl, whisk together the egg, sugar, food coloring, salt and vanilla essence until smooth.
- Add the chocolate mixture and the flour and stir until smooth. spread into the prepared pan.
- Bake for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the brownies comes with little moisture and not completely clean. Let cool completely before frosting.
Frosting
- In bowl, beat the cream cheese with butter and icing sugar until smooth and creamy. Spread the frosting over the cooled brownies.
- Refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
- Unmould and cut into shapes you like. Let warm to room temperature before serving.
