It is the dessert which traditionally come from Gujarat and Rajasthan, it is served mostly in festival occasion like Diwali.
50 ml Milk
300 gm sugar
200 gm Butter/ghee
2 tsp Green cardamom pwd.
100 gm Mawa (optional)
Pinch of Saffron
Sliced almond and pistachio for
topping.

250 gm Besan (chickpea flour)50 ml Milk

Method
- Take a warm milk add saffron into it and keep a side.
- Mix the chickpea flour with half of butter and milk and Rub with your palm till it looks like breadcrumbs.
- Now heat the remaining butter and mix the above mixture, roast till it turn brown in color.
- Now in other pan make a sugar syrup of 2 string consistency.
- Add the roasted mixture into the syrup and saffron mixture & mix well.
- Now spread this mixture into greased tray & garnish with sliced almond & pistachio.
- Cool till it set approx for 4-5 hour, cut into small squares and serve.
