It is as very simple Italian recipe which is made up of spaghetti pasta tossed with chilli and garlic and garnish with grated cheese & chopped basil.
INGREDIENT( serving 4)
400g

Cook Italian Spaghetti
|
4 tablespoons
|
Olive Oil
|
4 cloves
|
Garlic, coarsely chopped
|
2
|
Red Chillies, de-seeded and coarsely chopped
|
A pinch of
|
Salt and Pepper to taste
|
A handful of
|
Fresh Basil leaves, chopped
|
A twist of
|
Black Pepper to serve
|

Parmesan Cheese
|
METHOD
Cook the
Spaghetti in a large pan of boiling, lightly salted, water for about 8 minutes,
or 10 if you like your pasta a bit softer.
Warm the Olive
Oil in a pan on a medium heat. Add the garlic and chilli and cook for a couple
of minutes until softened but not burnt.
When the Pasta
is ready, drain off all the water. Remove the pan with the garlic and chilli
from the heat and tip the drained hot Pasta into it, then mix until the Pasta
is glossily coated in the Olive Oil.
Sprinkle with the chopped basil and the Parmesan Cheese over
the top and serve immediately with black pepper for a final flourish.
