Pound cake refers to a type of cake traditionally made with a pound of each of four ingredients: flour, butter, eggs, and sugar.
Ingredients for 1kg
5 nos Eggs250 g Flour
250 g Sugar
250 g Butter
5 g Vanilla pods
5 g Baking powder
Method
Beat the butter and sugar till creamy along with vanila podsAdd eggs one by one and keep creaming until the mixture is fluffy
Sift flour along with baking powder
Pour the contents into a lined mould and bake at 200 deg C for initial 10 minutes and then at 180 another 35 minutes
