Greek salad

Greek salad is a salad in Greek cuisine. Greek salad is made with pieces of tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, onion, feta cheese, and olives, typically seasoned with salt and oregano.


Ingredients(4 servings)

400gm         Cleaned Iceberg lettuce 
60gm           Diced Onion 
80gm           Diced Tomato 
120gm         Diced Cucumber 
40gm           Diced Capsicum 
20ml            Kalamata Olives 
60gm           Feta Cheese 
30ml            Herb Vinaigrette(see recipe
To taste       Salt & oregano







Method:

  1. Clean and Process all the vegetables.
  2. Prepare Vinaigrette.
  3. Mix all the diced vegetables and iceberg together and kalamata olives.
  4. Gently toss it and add vinaigrette to the salad .
  5. Just before plating add cubes of feta cheese and season the salad.
  6. Then finally build the salad on to a salad plate.
